These bounce off of nails and end up in slots at the bottom of the board, each of which has a multiplier of between 1x and 5x. Each is a win based on your initial stake, which are totalled at the end and added to your free spins prizes. With fast and smooth classic game play, the chance to win x your stake with scatter symbols and a quirky break out bonus game too, there is a lot to like about Quick Hit Pro.

This game has already proven to be a big success in live casinos — my prediction is that it will continue to attract fans now it is available online too.

I have acquired several of these cars and my impression is that Carrera has made significant strides in both performance and appearance, while maintaining a very reasonable price point. To Summarize:. The questions for me are: can they be made to run well really well on NINCO track; and at what cost; and how much skill and effort will be required? In other words, will the affordability of the Carrera cars be eclipsed by the need for aftermarket parts or special tools?

I have a number of GT cars from various manufacturers and I have to say that it is a slot car class that I really enjoy. The cars look good and usually handle very well as slot cars go. One car make that I did not have was an Aston Martin. And hopefully not just run, but run well. Competitive with other GT cars in my collection. My initial reaction to the Aston Martin Vantage V12's appearance is that Carrera is maintaining, and even enhancing, their commitment to quality and detail with each new model that they release.

The Carrera chassis is typical of their GT offerings that I have seen over the last year or so. The motor is the tried and true and consistent E which produces about 20, rpm and gcm of torque at 12 volts.

One just in front of the motor mount and a second, narrower, just behind the motor mount underneath the pinion. Both magnets come with a metal shim, or spacer, that allows the magnet to be raised a slight amount in its holder. This effectively provides eight distinct down force settings.

The factory configuration has the spacer installed below the magnets, therefore, in the raised position. I can't bring myself to remove a new car from the box, place it on the track and start running immediately.

So, I lubricated the motor armature with a micro drop of oil at each end and ran the car with the rear wheels raised off the track at about four volts. Bushings and gears were already well lubricated. After about ten minutes of this simple break in procedure, I placed the car on the track and began running laps.

It is interesting that the states with the highest rates of Covid are the SEC, ACC and Big 12 teams that have infection rates times higher than Pac12 teams that are not playing.

You can call the Pac12 wimps or you can call many southern states more interested in the holy grail of college football than potential health risks to the players.

The bridge I'm going to put on is not slotted, so I will have to slot the saddles myself and place the proper string spacing, using a string spacing rule. That should be no problem, since I have the right slotting files for the job. I just want to know how to go about this I assume that I would start with the two outer e-strings and get them seated where they sit nicely on the fretboard and on the bridge.

But the string slots at the bridge should match the radius of the fingerboard too, right? Will that mean I have to slot the outer e-strings to a certain depth, or just cut the slots so that the string sits with half the diameter in the slot and the other above, and from there just place the under-string radius gauge and see?? Thanks - Cheers! Khromo Silver Supporting Member. I line up the outer strings first, getting the strings and the edge of the fretboard correctly aligned.

I mark the saddle on both sides of the correctly aligned string with a felt tipped pen, and use a triangular file to start the slot right between the two marks.

  4. The misplaced saddle slots meant the strings were falling off the fretboard on the treble side. Not good! I’m going to set this guitar up with a new ABR-1 style bridge, which is more appropriate to a Les Paul than the Nashville style bridge.. Before putting the bridge on the guitar, I rough-in the saddle positions so their intonation points are close to where they belong.
