Take time to read. It is the fountain of wisdom. Take time to pray. It is the greatest power on Earth. Take time to love and be loved. It is a God-given privilege. Take time to be friendly. It is the road to happiness. Take time to give. It is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to work. It is the price of success. Every time you hear a bell ring, it means that some angel's just got his wings. Everything has it's own time and place. Transformation becomes effortless when we go with the flow. A time for work, a time for play - balance in all things. There comes a time when the mind takes a higher plane of knowledge but can never prove how it got there.
There is only one time that is important - NOW! It is the most important time because it is the only time that we have any power. The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully, is prepared to die at any time. Time expands like a brightly colored balloon when it is filled with joy.
Who forces time is pushed back by time; who yields to time finds time on his side. Take time to contemplate - away from the opinions and influence of others - what you really want and what you believe to be important in your life. I'm becoming more and more myself with time. I guess that's what grace is. The refinement of your soul through time. The second and third lines lay down associated ideas in parallel: the dead know nothing, and the dead can no longer enjoy or be rewarded for their activities in this life.
Solomon encourages his readers to live life to its fullest, knowing life is short. Divine Providence. Secrets of Heaven. Spiritual Experiences. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion.
I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. O death, where is your sting? And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see.
The dead cannot be contacted, neither do they contact others. In the resurrection of the dead John , they will again have a memory, "there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth", but this will be the end of the world, and the judgement - and the results, eternal.
I asked this question repeatedly but have been ignored on each occasion, if he argues that whatever we believe on this subject has no import on what is required for salvation, and therefore should not be made a test of fellowship, there will be no problem from me - so I ask why did he teach on a subject that has no relevance to what one must do to be saved?
Is this a license to teach error? There is no consciousness of the passage of time in the grave. For the righteous, the next event after death is the resurrection. Death for the believer is no more to be feared than a rest in the arms of a loving Savior.

How were we created?Nowhere does the Bible say man has a soul inside him. The Bible reveals that man is a soul. The Hebrew word used for "soul" is nephesh. It is the same word used for lower life forms, beasts and creeping things. It's even used in connection with a dead body-a dead nephesh or soul. The Bible says a soul can die!
